City Penthouse in Cape Town is a total renovation and refurbishment for a client who lives in Johannesburg, but travels extensively. We created a modern, fresh aesthetic with an African flair. We cleverly incorporated warmer tones and textures in focal areas such as the kitchen.

When furnishing the apartment we used leathers, linens, wood and faux fur, as seen in the lounge, to continue the wonderful feel of African Modern. The client had collected many pieces on their travels, which we seamlessly incorporated into the space. The bathrooms and bedroom were kept simple, yet they are warm and have fresh clean lines which create peaceful uncluttered spaces. Panoramic views from the windows make this simple, elegant space heaven on earth.
